I have returned!

I just got back from Flordia last night. We(mom, dad, Kenzziee, Marques, and me) just got back from John and Becky's and Flordia. We started in Georgia at John and Becky's for a couple of days which was very fun and then stayed at my aunt's in Flordia. While in Flordia we went to Epcot and Sea World. We had a really great time at both places. We were going to go to Disney for two days but it was so unbelievably crowded so we decided on Sea World instead. All in all it was really fun. I am glad to be home with Donnie again, because I did miss him a lot. Next time he is definitely coming. :) Fortunately I don't go back to work until Thursday, so I am going to enjoy a few more days of rest.

Vacation

Well I am leaving for vacation on Friday. Donnie is not going so I am very said about that. Because he has not been at his job for a very long time he has to work. So me, dad, mom, Kenzziee, and Marques are going together. We are stopping for a few days at John and Becky's, then to Disney for a few days, and then we will end up at my Aunt's in Daytona Beach. I can't wait for the break from cold weather and work. :) I just wish Donnie could come. Hopefully he and can go somewhere together soon.

Crash again.....

Well Donnie was on his way to work Wednesday and got in another accident. It was really icy and he was in my car, and he hit some ice and the car just started spinning out of control and he hit a guardrail. Fortunately he is fine and the car just has some scratches and a dent to the back bumper. I did give him the new nickname of CRASH since he has had two accidents in less than two months. He doesn't think it is very funny, but I think it is a good nickname.

Panda Bear

A few weeks ago Erin posted a picture of a doggy quilt/blanket that she made Tyler. Well yesterday she had me come over and she made a panda bear one for me. It is sooo cute, and it is very warm because it is made out of fleece. If I was talented I would put a picture up, but I am just not that skilled, you just have to take my word for it. Also I think Erin has a picture of it so she will probalby post it(hint, hint). Anywho, not much else going on. Love Candy and Donnie

Cleveland

Mom, dad and I took a quick trip up to Cleveland this weekend. Donnie wasn't able to go because he had a meeting at work and he had to work. We had a lot of fun with grandma. She really want to go out and do things so we went shopping, to dinner and of course played SkipBo. We had a really nice time, but of course now we are back to the daily grind.

Bored

Well I was bored yesterday so I decided to color my own hair. It turned out good, it is a light brown with a red cast to it. It looks better than the blonde that was in it because it just washed me out too much, since I am so pale right now. After that I decided to give my self bangs. It is definietly a change. Donnie was kind of shocked that I did it and said that he really wasn't sure that he liked them, but I just told him that he has never seen me with bangs and that he will get used to them. I like them and was worried so I had mom come over and she says she likes them too. So I guess when I go to meeting tonight I will see what everyone thinks. I think Donnie will like them eventually and he said it really wasn't up to him because I am the one that has to wear them.....MEN! You have to love 'em!

Six weeks until vacation!

Yes I am counting down until vacation because we need one. Life of course is busy and crazy, no big change there. The trailblazer is now fixed and looks good, but of course it is just a car. Donnie isn't sure if he is going to be able to go to Florida since he is the new guy at his job and will have to work the holidays. Mom and dad are going so if Donnie doesn't get time off Iam still going with them. I didn't want to go without Donnie but he told me that I need it and he wants me to go even he can't. I think it is going to be hard to be away from him for 10 days, but I know we will talk everyday, and if I miss him too much I will have to fly home (I mean it can't be to much more then gas! :) Anywho... we will stay with my aunt that lives in Daytona and go to Disney, so I am excited. We are also going to go to Tampa and see my Uncle. I am off to bed. Love Candy PS GO BLUE!

Crash!!

Well Donnie was in a car accident yesterday. He is fine and no one was injured in the other car. He was driving the Trail Blazer and it has some damage on the front bumper and the other guys car will need some work. Donnie was in the turning lane on Maple and was waiting to turn left onto Forest to go to Northside Pharmacy. The lane closest to him had stopped and the guy waved him on like the other lane was clear, so Donnie turned and got hit. So Donnie was citied. We are glad no one got hurt and the other guy even called and thanked us for turning it into the insursence company, which I thought was nice of him to do. It just sticks to have to deal with everything and have to pay a deductable and a ticket! Watch out for Maple Ave.

I am doing as asked....

It is now October. Nothing too overly exciting going on here. Still busy at work and of course drama, but that will probably never change. We are entering the flu and pneumonia season so I am sure we will be even busier. Donnie is still working in Lancaster. He really likes what he is doing. We have a trip planned for Florida in December, we are going to visit relatives and we are going to Epcot, so I am really excited for that. As most of you have probably heard Greg's cancer is back, so we are trying to spend time with he and Geisla, and to help them out wherever needed. They are both really close friends and great people. As always I hope all is well with everyone. Please keep in touch.

We are here!

Hello one and all, welcome to crazy land! Of course nowadays any place can be crazy land. Donnie and I of course have been busy just as everyone else has. Donnie started a new job last Thursday. He is working as an EMT at an ambulance company in Lancaster....so far that is going very well. He very glad to be working in a field that he went to school for. Since we are talking about jobs, my job has been extremely busy. We are entering the flu season so that makes us busy and also we are having a lot of employees leave, so those of us that are staying are working a lot, oh well I guess it does pay the bills. Our hall just has a few last touches and it will be finished, it is so beautiful, Jehovah truely is wonderful. I also am paired up with Janet Gilbert in the pioneer assisst program, which we have a lot of things in common so it should be very fun and encouraging. Well off to bed I go, I have to work tonight. Everyone take care and keep in touch.

ALIVE!!!

OK just wanted to drop a little note to let everyone know that Donnie and I do exist. First of all I have been sick for a few weeks but I think I am finally better. So far Donnie has a fabulous immune system and has not gotten it. Work of course now has gone from being put on call once a week to them calling and asking if I would like to work every day. I'll tell you it is feast or famine. The hall is pretty much finished, and looks absolutely stunning. I love it. Whoever has the chance should stop by and see it. As always I hope all is good with everyone.

Kenzziee

Well as you all might have heard by now Kenzziee dislocated her elbow yesterday. She was playing at a park in Newark pushing some of the boys on a tire swing and slipped and fell and dislocated her elbow. We got to see it and the x-rays before they put it back in place and it was pretty gross. They put it back in place in ER and put a cast on it. They think it might also have a hair-line fracture so she going to see an orthapedic doctor this week. She is doing ok, she just in some pain, but she is getting the good drugs. :) The hall, as you can see on Erin's site, is looking great, I love the colors. Donnie and I are still alive and kicking. Current events

Hello everyone, it's been a few weeks, so I wanted to give a quick update. First of all Donnie got a new job, it is not as an EMT but he will actually be working with my dad. He will be an electrician that does service calls, or something like that, I don't understand yet exactly what he will be doing. We are both excited. As you all know every witness in Zanesville Ohio is busy right now. The remodeling is coming around quite nicely, I now officially now how to grout tile, we hope to be finished in 2 weeks, we are also doing our tract campaign and our district convention is in a couple of weeks. Also the South Hall has finished one pioneer school and they have one more to go. I hope everyone is doing OK, and I hope to hear for everyone soon. Love Candy and Donnie

Just dropping a little note...

Well it is 445am and of course I am awake even though I am not working tonight, my body is just too used to night shift, so I thought I'd write something to everyone I know and love. Abby K. sorry for not telling you about the blog, I thought I e-mailed everyone...oops. :) So as you all know no matter how much I cheered the Cavs on they still did not win, oh well at least I can say they made it to the big show. We at the North Hall are gearing up for our remodeling, the demo starts Saturday. Donnie and I have just been trying to stay cool in the heat, I hope everyone else is. Kelly it is good to know that you are still alive and kicking, Chris too. :) I will probably be seeing a lot of you from the South Kingdom Hall because I work every Wednesday and Sunday night so I will be going to Thursday night meeting and Sunday morning meeting.

Heat!!

h you can tell we are in OHIO. I think you can cut the air with a knife today. I just love humitity. I hope everyone is keeping cool. I am staying in the AC and drinking slushies, yes I am still a kid at heart, even though I will be 30 in less than 4 months.

Heather's Party

Hello, Heather and Diallo's party went very well. They both received a lot of nice things that they needed, and everyone had a really nice time. Thank you to all of those that came and made it a success. And to think that is just the first party this weekend, I know that the rest are also going to be very enjoyable because we all are going to be together.

DONNIE=EMT

Hello everyone. I just am so very happy to let everyone know that Donnie passed his National Register and is now an EMT! We were both very stressed out waiting for his test results, but can now breath easy, at least about that anyhow. I hope all is well with everyone. :)

Heather's Housewarming Party

As you all know by now Heather and Diallo have moved into a new apartment. So we are going to have a housewarming party for them. It is going to be at our house Friday May 25th at 6:00pm. Everyone is welcome to come. Heather and Diallo are registered at Walmart. It is going to be a potluck so just bring yourself and something everyone can snack on. My address is 515 Forest Ave. for those that don't know. I hope to see everyone here.

UGH!!

I have just worked close to 50 hrs in 4 days, and I might have to work eight more tonight! I think I am getting to old for this. :) I hope all is well with everyone. It is so nice to see that the weather is staying warm and nice. Let's keep it that way.

One step closer

Well Donnie is now one step closer to being an EMT. He is now finished with his EMT classes and he passed with flying colors!!! Now all he has to do is pass his national register and he will be offical. We are both very excited!

Circuit Assembly

My how time flies. I am actually over my illness, I guess an antibiatic every once in awhile doesn't hurt. Gladly Donnie hasn't gotten it yet and hopefully he won't. He is almost finished with school, his last day is the 23rd of this month, and then he will offically join the rest of us crazy people in the medical field(you know who you are). The circuit assembly was of course wonderful this weekend. So much good information, I just need to make sure I can apply it all now. :) I hope all is well with everyone.

Still Ill

Well being the smart nurse that I am I started feeling better so I never said anything to my doctor. Well on Friday I started feeling bad again, and now I have a sinus infection and the flu. I am on an antibiotic so hopefully that will clear it up soon, and I will be able to go to the memorial tomorrow. Fortunately Donnie hasn't gotten any of it and hopefully he won't.

Sick

Well the flu bug has finally gotten me. I started getting a sore throat on Friday. It has now progressed into a cough. I think it is probably strep throat but I am going to go to the doctors tommorrow to see for sure.

Hello everyone. Sorry it has taken so long to post once again. I am still working on the picture thing. I think I now know how to do it I just need to take some of the pictures and download them to a folder and then to here. Anyhow, Donnie and I just celebrated our 1st anniversary last Saturday. We went to Amish country and stayed at the same place we stayed for our honeymoon. We had a really nice time. Ok I promise I will work on the pictures soon.(of course I also mentioned that on my last post and look what happened) :)
